OK. So buying one ate up precious time I didn't have to give. A few Saturdays back, I stood for an hour in an early morning line in a Santa Rosa, CA mall. I was hungry as well as tired. And the first one I bought broke within 24 hours. So I had to return it and get another. What am I talking about? An iPhone, of course! Yet despite the anxiousness and the annoyances, I must admit, I'm in love with my new, black as night and shiny as a star, iPhone 3G.

The Mobipocket version can be uploaded onto the Amazon Kindle e-book reader. As for me, the PDF of Pogue's new iPhone book sits on my desktop. Without it, I still would be struggling over syncing, setting up my email, taking photos, and listening to my voice mail.
